Hi! Welcome to Groovy Graphics!
You are free to use these original web and email tiled Backgrounds for your own personal use, in your email or on personal web pages. Please do not use on commercial pages.
These were all made by either Leslie or Robin, using a combination of various graphics programs.
Right click on the one you want, and choose "Save As" or "Save Target As" and save them to your own hard drive. NO direct linking to any images on this page please.
If you like them, save them now, because when we update the page with new ones, these ones won't be saved on here anymore.
For the Stationery, be sure to also save the corresponding HTML file with the backgrounds, as those are what make the stationery work. Save them both
into the same folder or they won't work.
Help yourself and enjoy!

Oh yeah, click on any background image to see it previewed live on this very page! (Click outside of the graphics, or hit "Refresh" to return to the page's default color scheme) - Groovy, baby!
Instructions for using these in your email follow the graphics.
See ya! :-)   ~ Leslie & Robin~

Right-Click on the images first, to save them, then right-click the text link below each to save their corresponding HTML files. Stationery requires BOTH files. When you use actual Stationery in Outlook Express, it is preformatted so that your text will not run over the borders (like it unfortunately does on the Live Previewer here.)

How to use the Tiled Backgrounds in your email:
  1. Save the desired Backgrounds either to a floppy disc or to a folder on your own hard drive, where you will easily be able to find them again.
  2. Open your email program. For the sake of demonstration, I will refer to
    MS 'Outlook Express' here.
  3. Start a new email message to someone.
  4. At the top of that screen, click on the word FORMAT, you will
    see a drop-down menu appear.
  5. From that menu, choose BACKROUND and then PICTURE.
  6. At this point, you'll be prompted to browse for the image you want to use. Simply find it where you saved it, select it, and say 'Open' then 'OK'
  7. Presto change-O! Your background should magically appear in your new email. Have fun! :-)

How to use Stationery Backgrounds in your email:
  1. Save the desired Stationery Backgrounds AND their corresponding HTML files either to a floppy disc or to a folder on your own hard drive, where you will easily be able to find them again. Make sure you save BOTH the graphic (.jpg) file AND the HTML file into the SAME folder or it will not work. Do not try to save the .html files as a Word .doc, it will not work either.
  2. Open your email program. For the sake of demonstration, I will refer to
    MS 'Outlook Express' here.
  3. Start a new email message to someone.
  4. At the top of that screen, click on the word FORMAT, you will
    see a drop-down menu appear.
  5. From that menu, choose APPLY STATIONERY and then MORE STATIONERY.
  6. At this point, you'll be prompted to browse for the stationery you want to use. You will be looking for the HTML file here instead of just the image. Simply find the HTML document with the desired stationery's name wherever you saved it, select it, and say 'Open' then 'OK'
  7. Presto change-O! Your stationery should magically appear in your new email complete with the cursor in the correct position so that it won't type over the border area. If you don't see any background, check to make sure you have saved BOTH the html file and the JPG file for the stationery into the SAME folder.
    Enjoy and have fun! :-)
