Women's News and Views on Life, Love and Leisure in the Real World

Hi! Welcome to Graphics Galore! (Vol. 1 Issue 3 - Nov. 2001)
You are free to use these original web and email backgrounds for your own personal use, in your email or on personal web pages. Please do not use on commercial pages.
These were all made using a combination of "Harm's Tile 99" (a great freeware
program) and Imsi "Hot Shots."
Right click on the one you want, and choose "save as" or "save image/target as" and save them to your own hard drive. NO direct linking to any images on this page please.
More to come next issue!   Help yourself and enjoy!
Oh yeah, click on any background image to see it previewed live on this very page! (Click outside of the graphics, or hit "Refresh" to return to the page's default color scheme) - Groovy, baby!
Instructions for using these in your email follow the graphics.
See ya! :-)   ~ Leslie ~

How to use these backgrounds in your email:
  1. Save the desired backgrounds either to a floppy disc or to a folder on your own hard drive, where you will easily be able to find them again.
  2. Open your email program. For the sake of demonstration, I will refer to
    MS 'Outlook Express' here.
  3. Start a new email message to someone.
  4. At the top of that screen, click on the word FORMAT, you will
    see a drop-down menu appear.
  5. From the resulting list, choose BACKROUND and then PICTURE.
  6. At this point, you'll be prompted to browse for the image you want to use. Simply find it where you saved it, select it, and say 'Open' then 'OK'
  7. Voila! Your background should magically appear in your new email. Have fun! :-)
